Temporary measures, for protection of Pipelines from washout, have been designed at the river Shamkirchai and permanent measures are in the stage of designing. Designing includes arrangement of concrete and riprap barrages, arrangement of river bed revetment structures by means of riprap.
Conducted works comprise the following:
- Arrangement of Wind Turbine Foundations and Cable Ducts at Block Valves 03 and 16 of BTC Pipeline.
- Fence Repair Works at Block Valves 15 and 16 of BTC Pipeline.
- Arrangement of Reinforced Concrete Trackways for Turbine Removal at PSG 1 and PSG 2.
Works include detailed design as well as construction.
Works consist of:
- Earth works, ditch arrangement around the site, area fencing, internal road arrangement, concrete sidewalk arrangement, area landscaping.
- Bedroom facility/connecting hallway and kitchen-dining facility construction (with total area 1020,8 sq.m.). These activities included construction of the foundation, foundation slab, columns, beams and ceiling slab with the r/c structures; also, arrangement of walls and partitions with various materials, their plastering and painting, winterization (warmth-keeping) of the foundation. Arrangement of steel trusses and purlins, roofing of buildings with galvalume-coated metal materials. Buildings were furnished with metal plastic windows, metal doors, iron-framed wooden doors, metal plastic doors and etc. Arrangement of indoor electrical system; outdoor security lighting, water supply, sewer system, heating, ventilation, security CCTV system, fire alarm system.
- Generator and fuel storage shelter construction
- Arrangement of chiller/freezer shelter
- Arrangement of STP and its respective reed-bed.
Works included arrangement of magnets at the top of the pipelines and their planning in absolute coordinates. In total 38 magnets have been arranged. Besides this, temporary monuments have been arranged alongside the pipelines.
In Bakuriani region, pouring of reinforced concrete on the parapets of Secondary Containment Structures arranged on the rivers: Tskhratskaro, Kumiska-1, Kumiska-2, Oshora-1 and Oshora-2 and in the foundations of three generators (356m³). Construction of storage places for three generators; provision of facing works in them.
Arrangement of 7343m³ gabions at the banks of the aforementioned rivers.
For installation of four wind turbines at BV16 and GB03 following works were done - topographical survey and geotechnical investigations of sites, calculation of bearing capacities of turbine foundations, rehabilitation of access roads, preparation of construction sites, installation of foundations of turbines and winch anchors with reinforced concrete, installation of cable ducts.
Works included arrangement of monuments alongside the pipelines and their planning in absolute coordinates. In total 203 monuments have been arranged.
Topographical and geotechnical surveys have been conducted; there have been designed reinforced concrete foundations for STP facilities and concrete surroundings, reinforced concrete intake and discharge manholes in the reed-bed according to the given dimensions, also pipelines from STP facilities to the reed-bed and from the reed-bed to the existing ravine. Layout schemes for STP facilities have been determined. Construction process included installation of necessary STP equipment (RBC Unit, Twin Effluent Pump Station, UV Chamber and Mag Flow meter) on the pre-arranged reinforced concrete foundation and placement of these equipment in the concrete slabs. Also, construction of reed-bed.
Beds of all three rivers and their banks were fortified by means of 0, 7-1,0m size riprap. In total, 1400mі of riprap have been arranged on all three rivers.
Area topographical survey and geotechnical investigation. Permanent Accommodation Area consist of the following facilities: bedroom facility for 24 persons, kitchen/dining facility, guard house, generator enclosure and fuel storage shed, sewage treatment plant, smoking shelter, waste segregation area, outdoor recreation area, parking area, court. The work included the following designs: area vertical planning architectural, structural, indoor electrical system; outdoor security lighting, water supply, sewer system, heating, ventilation, security CCTV system, fire alarm system etc. For the design were applied local standards as well as British Standards, IBC-2000, NFPA 101.
Geotechnical survey included study of location places of administration buildings in the four districts of Tbilisi. Drilling works and laboratory analysis have been conducted resting on them geotechnical conclusions, for all four building locations, have been issued.
In order to enhance the integrity of the Western Route Export Pipeline crossing, emergency repair was carried out. Up to 3 000 cub.m. Riprap was placed alongside Liakhvi river crossing with the pipeline. As built documentation preparation.

Design and Construction reinforced concrete foundations of the shelter for generators at SCP Area 80.
Construct and install the vault from prefabricated reinforcement concrete structures for the 4” SCP valve outside of PSG2.
Emergency repair works of six buildings located in Tbilisi for temporary accommodation of refugees.
Arrange and provide magnet surveys on Western Route Export Pipeline river crossings and line section from PRS1 to KP370.
Performing different minor construction works and periodical provision with construction equipment per the company’s request.

Reinforced concrete foundation was designed and constructed at PSG-1 CWAA area. C35 concrete was used for the foundation. 50m long access road to the r/c foundation was arranged.
Reconstruction of t. Gurjaani wine factory administrative building to hotel facility. The work includes: architectural design, structural calculations of bearing elements, design of water supply, sewerage, and heating-ventilation and power supply networks, interior design. Also, tennis courts, sauna and other recreation facilities within the hotel complex.
Design of underground passage on V. Gorgasali square, the passage comprises of r/c gallery, dome cladding and entrance/exit.
The detail design includes structural design of the passage based on the architecture in view of underground utility locations.
The bearing elements of the passage were calculated per the shallow-depth tunnel scheme. The formwork and reinforcing drawings, water supply system for fire hydrants were developed and excavation strengthening structure was distinguished.
Management of construction services, such as - cleaning/reinstating existing concrete ditches and pipes, leveling road bed, reinstating the damaged asphalt cover, removing deformed sub layer and damaged and cracked asphalt, arranging of asphalt layer, repairing concrete ditches and culverts, arranging new culverts, marking the cover etc on eight asphalt roads with approximate total length 27km in Gardabani, Marneuli and Tetritskaro Districts.
The services are performed along BTC and WREP Oil Pipelines, SCP Gas Pipeline and at BP’s facilities, including pump stations, pressure reduction stations, PSG1, PSG2, pipelines right of way, valve stations, river crossings, Supsa terminal, storage yards etc.
The services include - road repair, gravel work, equipment repair, response to land slips and other erosion-related emergencies, remedial works, manual handling, small civil constriction works provision of laborers, provide and maintain winter access to a set number of block and check valves, provision of materials, equipment, plant and machinery, transportation services for heavy and light loads

Lift shaft strengthening and hydraulic lift installation, which comprises if two main elements: 16m high lift shaft strengthening with prefabricated steel elements, reinforced concrete plain roof arrangement on the lift shaft, lift rails and lift installation.
Drainage system and Reinforced Concrete Slab Arrangement: demolish existing 500sq.m. R/C slab in the BTC OPS yard, 20 cm thickness crushed rock layer arrangement and compaction, 20 cm thickness in city cast R/C slab arrangement, waterproof sealant application between the R/C slab sections.
Topographic survey at rail crossing 1n1:500 scale both railroad and vehicle road sections inclusive. Vehicle roads CBR testing. Design of Railroad crossing features and vehicle road cover design. Report Development.
Assessment of buildings bearing structures, determination of existing damages (if any). Recommendations issue about antennas installation on the buildings taking into account their structural integrity.
Recovering works and maintenance at BV12; Refuelling at GB 21; Rock salt delivery from Rustavi pipe yard to PSG: Fabrication of fuel container and its transportation to Rustavi pipe yard; Provision of Water Tanker for PSG 1.
Redesign of bank revetments and river-bed landscape due to environmental fitness. Redesign of Reinforced Concrete Sluice Gates Structures. Earth, gabion walls, riprap, road covers, r/c structures etc. work scopes development.
Removal 50cm cover (concrete and crushed rock) from the helipad area and 5sm thickness gravel cover from the adjacent road. Debris removal on Akhaltsikhe landfill. Area spreading by bulldozer and grader.
Visual inspection of 28 erosive sites along Baku-Supsa oil pipeline, in case of need, detail topographic and geotechnical survey, design of erosion measures (arranging dams, berms, drainage channels, retaining walls etc). Carrying out detail topographical and geotechnical investigations, bridge design over r. Satskhenisi.
More than 100lm length borehole drilling, piezometers installation, lab determination of soils bulk and particle density, report development.
Based of geotechnical and hydrological investigation and topographic survey data, temporary bank revetment is designed to protect the WREP pipeline on this section of the ROW.
Additional minor construction works, including small concrete block and brick walls construction, etc, are being carried out on the reinforced concrete slabs on the CWAA area at PSG 1.
Design and construction works for water supply system of Bakuriani region, v. Andeziti, namely: geotechnical and survey works on route, determination of optimal route of the pipeline (1,2km length)), water supply system hydraulic report, including pipeline testing design; development of the design for headwork facility. Water supply system construction from 150mm diameter steel and plastic pipes, arrangement of reinforced concrete headwork facility.
Detailed technical specific surveys on the various sections of the Georgian Gas Transmission Pipeline which includes: geotechnical Inspection; pipeline corrosion, coating inspection; valves and gas distribution stations technical condition inspection; civil engineering inspection works; environmental baseline, audit and analysis.
These studies will be carried out on 74% (a total of 222km) of the pipeline length covering the following sections:

Design of a sluice gate for irrigation channel at r. Potkhovi-2 crossing of the BTC pipeline, including field topographic survey, geotechnical investigations, laboratory testing of soils, hydrological calculations, and detail design of the sluice gate and spillway.

Detail design of 2.2km long access road to GB21. For narrowing the gradients and selecting best road cover, three options were developed. Among the developed options, option II was considered most feasible, in case of which maximum gradient did not exceed 22%, which ensured more safe movement compared to option I and III.
